Sam and Korey – Cobblestone Creek Wedding Photography, Victor NY

I do not have the words for how truly wonderful Sam and Korey’s wedding day was. It was filled with so much joy, hysterical laughter, tears, and the perfect amount of weirdness. Every single person there was determined to live in the moment, and celebrate a spectacular couple.

We started the day at Sam’s childhood home, where she was surrounded by her dearest women (and dad). A lot of the women in Sam’s family are hair dressers, so their basement has a lovely salon that was a flurry with excitement. With hair done by best friends and siblings, the energy in the room was palpable. Everyone there was just so excited for Sam and Korey. After the finishing touches — and guest appearances by the family cats — we made our way over to Saint Lawrence Church for the main event.

Perfectly in line with the rest of the day, Sam and Korey’s ceremony was one of the funniest church ceremonies I’ve ever seen. Their former priest travelled in for the occasion, and had the whole room sharing in hysterical laughter and beaming smiles.

Sam and Korey couldn’t take their eyes off of each other, and watching the glances exchanged between them was so sweet. They were just super excited to be married.

After cheers for the newly married couple (YAY!), with a pit stop back home to see their cat, we made our way around Memorial Art Gallery, Lamberton Conservatory and Highland Park. Now if the prior words were any indication of the joy coming from this group, their pictures show it. The entire bridal party was so exuberant, we danced our way around the park (they really felt it!).

We wandered around the stunning grounds at Cobblestone Creek, and only lost one groomsman in the golf cart (he really tucked and rolled, it was impressive), before making our way into their reception. The party only continued from there. There was a bridal party wheelbarrow race, hysterical toasts, emotional parent dances that included a letter via voiceover, and an absolutely packed dance floor. There could not have been a more energetic room, everyone was thrilled to be there. They all danced the night away surrounded by those they love the most, and it was nothing but a joy to photograph.

Sam and Korey – Thank you is not quite enough, it was truly an honor to photograph your wedding day. Congratulations on this new step in your lives together, I know this is only the start for you.
