Laura and Ilya – DoubleTree by Hilton Niagara Falls Wedding, Niagara Falls NY

From the moment I sat down with Laura and Ilya to chat about their wedding day and lives together, I knew it was going to be a wonderful wedding. They really wanted to enjoy their wedding day, and have fun with their loved ones. And oh boy, have fun they did.

We started the morning at Laura’s childhood home, where it was a true family affair. Laura’s sister Liz did her hair, while the rest of her siblings laughed over mimosas around the table. With the additions of a doting flower girl named Grace, and a touching first look with dad, it could not have been a sweeter morning.

Laura and Ilya were just so super excited to be married, they grinned their way through their ceremony. Through sentimental vows, and sweet glances, they were wed in the same church as Laura’s family was before them.

After they laughed their way back down the aisle, we made our way over to Goat Island, Art Alley and Lafayette Square for portraits. We spent the afternoon having a blast with their bridal party including, in true Buffalo style, a swing by Mighty Taco.

Among beautiful decor, touching toasts, and beautiful formal dances, Laura and Ilya celebrated their new lives together among the people they love the most. The dance floor was packed until the very last song, they truly danced the night away.
