Liz and James – Long Island Aquarium Wedding Photography, Riverhead NY

Liz and James are equal parts quirk, fun, and boisterous laughter so the Long Island Aquarium was the perfect fit for them. After all, their first date was at the Cooney Island Aquarium. From the second you meet them, you cannot help but smile. What started as a concussion for them (just ask them, the story is great) has led to the next chapter of their wonderful lives together.

The morning started at the Hyatt Place East End with Liz, her bridesmaids, and a spectacular 90’s/early 2000’s playlist.  Liz picked immaculate, timeless details to complete her wedding day look. She looked straight out of an old Hollywood movie with her elegant pearls and intricate lace. With a brief blip over to the guys to give James his gift (we definitely weren’t planning that gift for well over a month…), we made our way over to the stunning Sea Star for their first look.

Their beaming grins upon seeing each other for the first time only got bigger from there. We met a penguin who was not about the camera, received a kiss from a sea lion named Java, and laughed with their truly wonderful friends and family.

Liz and James had a day completely fitting to them, and their ceremony was no exception. They were married by the man that accepted James into Stony Brook and laughed their way through their vows. That laughter only increased as the evening went on, plus some pretty sweet dance moves were added to the mix. Amid toasts that were equal parts heartfelt and funny, impossibly sweet parent dances and the cheers of their family and friends, Liz and James danced the night away.

Congratulations you two! I could not be more grateful to have been your photographer, thank you for being above and beyond wonderful. #blesstherains
